

Automatic treatment of waste water has started its activities at the company Saraj-Komerc d.o.o. Gornji Vakuf- Uskoplje.
Providing the necessary equipment as its instalation and trial work was performed and supervised by experts from the company Prima Tech, Croatia. Thereby were applying the newest technologies in this field in the region of South-East Europe.
The plant is fully automated with a maximum capacity of 10m³/h of treated water and 50-60% returned water in the proces of surface protection. Water treatment is carried out over silica sand and coal and than over ion exchange resin returned in process.
Plant for ion exchange was controlled by a special computer programme. A water, that is not run on ion exchange, is beeing neutralized beside a parameter control and passes into the settling tank beside the dosage of flocculants.
Accrued lees is removed by the filter-presses, and finally after final measurement the treated water is discharged into the recipient. Oily water is specially treated and oil skimming in the oil seperator, and oil skimming water is treated again in the standard way.
Co-financing of this significant project was whole heartedly financial supported by Environmental Protection Fund FBiH, whose skilled co-worker Mr. Almir Kočo did not hide his satisfaction after he visited this facility.
